Freedom

Unspoken

Healing the
hidden
Speaking the
unspoken

Welcome, Fighter.

You are here.
Reading this right now means that you value your freedom and
You’ve chosen to confront your story instead of letting it define you.

And that choice? That alone makes you a fighter.

In this space, we will never reduce you to your pain.
You are not just a survivor of sexual abuse,
You are a warrior who stood in the fire and made it through.

This platform isn’t just about healing wounds; it’s about reclaiming identity.
We are turning reality into dust—because you are not a victim of your past.

You are a child of God, crafted for beauty, purpose, strength, and resilience.
By showing up, by acknowledging your journey,
by daring to believe that healing is possible, you’ve already won.

I see you.
Not as broken.
But as bold.
Not as damaged.
But as delivered.

And even more than that, God sees you.
Not for what’s been done to you,
but for who He created you to be.
Strong. Whole. Restored. Redeemed.

You are not what happened to you.
You are who you’ve chosen to become despite it.
And as we walk this journey together, I pray your vision begins to align with God’s—
that you begin to see yourself through His eyes:
Loved. Worthy. Enough.

Let’s begin.
Welcome to your freedom.

From Silent Fighter To Voice From The Ashes

Hi love! I’m honored that you are here.

Since I was six, I dreamed about being a physician. But behind that dream, I lived with a quiet ache. I secretly experienced sexual abuse and stayed silent for years, wearing smiles like armor while breaking inside. Through divine interruption, Jesus met me, not with shame, but with steady rescuing love. He didn’t ask me to fix myself, but rather to come to him, broken and all. From hidden wounds to holy healing, Freedom Unspoken was born.

Now, as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow, I witness what God can do with the parts of our stories we’re most afraid to reveal. If you’re grieving, fighting, or simply trying to make it through today, take heart my love: you are not too broken, and it's never too late to be healed. This is a safe place to be honest, to be held, and to be rebuilt in God. Please know that you are deeply wanted here.

“To all who mourn... He will give a crown of beauty for ashes...” — Isaiah 61:3

With the love of Christ,

Found: A 60-Day Trauma-Informed Devotional

A journey of healing, identity, and hope in Christ.

This devotional was created for the in-between spaces—the moments where pain feels louder than purpose and healing feels far away. Each day offers Scripture, reflection, and gentle guidance through the lens of trauma-informed care, reminding you that God is present in the very places you’ve felt unseen.

Blending biblical truth with compassionate insight, FOUND also carries personal touches from Dr. Brittany Yahaya’s own journey after trauma—offering both authenticity and hope. It’s not just a book to read; it’s an invitation to walk with God day by day, learning to release shame, reclaim your identity, and rediscover His presence in your story.

You’ll love this devotional if you:
  • • Long to connect Scripture with your healing journey.
  • • Are processing trauma and searching for a safe, faith-centered guide.
  • • Want daily encouragement that meets both your heart and your story with compassion.

The Gap

Current Reality

Survivors often cycle through patterns of relational and emotional instability, without ever naming or healing the root trauma. Many feel spiritually shamed or unsupported by the very communities meant to help them heal.

Our Mission

Freedom Unspoken offers a sacred, integrated healing path—honoring both the depth of trauma and the power of Christ. Through storytelling, clinical insights, and biblically rooted guidance, we invite survivors to step into freedom—not as an abstract hope, but as a lived reality.
