Why a sexual abuse platform?
I’ve always been a lover of life and deeply devoted to my family, but like many of us, my path wasn’t always straight or smooth. There were seasons of confusion, waiting, and deep brokenness through sexual abuse during my own youth — but also moments of discovery. And yet, it was in those very places of pain that I encountered some of the most incredible people and transformative experiences. Looking back, I now see how God was gently walking with me through each step of my healing — even when I didn’t recognize it at the time. What felt like detours were actually divine appointments. I’ve learned that God doesn’t waste pain, and He often uses the unexpected pauses in life to reshape, restore, and refine us — preparing us for a purpose greater than we could imagine.
Freedom Unspoken was born during one of those pauses — a time when I stepped away from my medical training and poured myself into a traveling dance ministry. Dance was my first expression of healing. But what started as an expression of worship through movement evolved into a deeper calling to help others find healing, freedom, and wholeness — body, mind, and spirit.
Today, Freedom Unspoken is a Christ-centered healing initiative for those who are navigating life after trauma, especially sexual trauma. It’s a safe place where you can begin the journey of self-discovery, reclaim your voice, and walk through the broken glass toward healing — all while being reminded that God’s plan for your life is greater than anything you’ve ever dreamed.
So whether you’re feeling stuck, searching for purpose, or simply needing a reminder that you’re not alone — I’m here. And more importantly, God is here. Let’s walk this road together.
Because your healing isn’t just possible — it’s promised.
I began my academic journey at Allegheny College, where I self-designed a major in Science, Health, and Society and minored in Dance and Movement Studies — combining my love for both science and the expressive power of movement.
I went on to earn my medical degree from St. George’s University, and I’m currently completing my residency in Psychiatry at Tulane University. Soon, I’ll be continuing my training through a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, deepening my passion for helping young people heal and thrive — heart, soul, and renewed mind, just as God intended.

I’ve lived the silence. I’ve carried the shame. But I’ve also met God in the ashes of trauma — and watched Him rebuild my identity piece by piece.
This course wasn’t just created from textbooks and training (though I have both). It was birthed from personal healing, professional insight, and a calling to help others find the freedom I once thought was impossible.
You are not what happened to you.
You are who God says you are — whole, chosen, and deeply loved.
Let’s walk this road to healing together.
