peace in uncertainty,
and purpose in the places we often try to rush through.
You’re not behind.
You’re not forgotten.
You’re right where God wants to meet you.
And trust me — He’s not done with your story yet.
And that’s when it hit me. Here I was, trying so desperately to escape the middle, while the world seemed just as desperate to find it. What an irony—that I am exactly where I need to be. God brought me here, not with a heavy hand but with the gentlest guidance, by closing doors I wouldn’t have closed on my own and forcing me to confront the parts of myself that needed healing.
I have always been a dreamer—my head floating somewhere above the clouds, filled with a million and one ideas. I see visions, chase possibilities, and feel the pull of “what could be” stronger than most people understand. But if I’m honest, the dreaming can be exhausting, especially when you don’t always know how to carry those dreams out. Sometimes the ideas are so vast, I don’t know where to start… so I don’t. I hover. I imagine. I hope.
Putting the Word of God into practice is tough. We say we want to follow Jesus, but if we’re honest, we often prefer following our own timing, our own goals, and our own image. We stay busy—not necessarily productive for God, but busy enough to avoid the stillness where He might speak something that confronts our plans.
